Chris Lowery pointed out John A. Hillenbrand Foundation funding helped expand and renovate Ivy Tech's Batesville campus. "This was a unique idea by people in this room to say, 'This community of 6,500 people should have a college campus. We should help our students achieve more than we thought possible ... and in turn lift up this community.'" Foundation leaders were presented with the Organization/Community Impact Award.
