Batesville resident Keith DeMers was named the 2014 Sunman Idol. After he sang his song, emcee Anna Ibold said, "If you closed your eyes, it was like you were at a free Rascal Flatts concert." The Sunman Idol and Sunman Karaoke contests were part of the annual Sunman Wine & Fireworks Festival, sponsored by the Sunman Area Chamber of Commerce.
