Early on Memorial Day, Batesville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3183 and Prell-Bland American Legion Post 271 honor guards performed brief services at four cemeteries: St. Louis Catholic Church (above), Batesville United Methodist Church, St. Mark's Lutheran Church and St. John's United Church of Christ, Huntersville.
